Castle was my first Stu kid; I knew then that I wanted more Stu kids! I waited over 2 years for Flutter and boy was she worth the wait!

Stu's Agility and Herding Career
Stuart, or "Stu", to his friends, came to stay with me for a short time when he was 9 years old to try some herding. He had been on ducks once as a 9 month old puppy. His first time out on sheep, Stu went right to work and loved it!! Unfortunately, he had to go back home before we could get any titles. During the next year he got his NA with Jean Lavalley. I called his owner Nancy Walton and told her that Stu deserved to be a VCX so send him back!

Stu earned his OA, HT, and PT at the age of 11 which gave him his VCX.

I fell head over heels in love with Stu while he was here, and it broke my heart to send him home. He is what I think every Sheltie should be: fits our breed standard, awesome temperament, great biddability, high drive for all sports, but would snuggle right up on the couch and in bed!

Stu continues passing on all his great traits to his grand kids. I am lucky to have his Grandson Cloud, who not only looks like his granddad but has so many of the same great traits.
